Resource and Learning Centers
The Robert and Ronnie Bretholtz Center at Brigham and Women's Hospital provides support services such as a family liaison service that provides updates on the day of the patient's surgery, as well as a library with health information, education, and computer access for patients and families.
The Eleanor and Maxwell Blum Patient and Family Resource Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute provides a wealth of information about specific cancers and treatments, side effects, and clinical research. The Center also provides classes and seminars, support group information, and computer access to patients and families.
The Ruth and Carl J. Shapiro Center for Patients and Families at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a central location where patients can obtain information about resources at Dana-Farber and in the Boston area.
